Blackpartners at the European Economic Congress 2014
On 7th May starts one of the biggest business events in Central Europe, namely the European Economic Congress in Katowice. The event coincides with the 10th anniversary of the most significant enlargement of the European Union, in which ten states took part, including the countries of Central Europe and the Baltic states. From today’s perspective, the enlargement can be undoubtly judged as a landmark not only for Poland, but for whole Europe.
The European Economic Congress is a three-day event involving meetings and debates of six thousand participants from Poland and other European countries. Every year hundreds of panelists take part in nearly one hundred sessions and among participants of the Congress one can find EU Commissioners, the Prime Ministers of European countries and the representatives of the Polish Government. During an open public debate this opinion-forming group discusses the most important issues for the economic and social development of Europe.
